Settlement Services

For new Permanent Resident arriving in Ontario, we are offering following services to assist in the settlement and adaptation to a new country and culture:

  • Airport Pickup
  • Accommodation
  • Social Insurance Number (SIN)
  • Banking
  • Health Care
  • Community Services
  • Public Transport
  • Orientation

Airport Pickup

One of our staff member will greet the new permanent resident at the airport upon his or her arrival. Transportation will be arranged from the airport to the hotel or motel.

Accomodation

Short term: That staff member shall arrange suitable accommodation at a hotel or motel for one night immediately following arrival in Canada at the expensive of new permanent resident.


Long Term: We can also arrange suitable permanent residence as per the budget of new permanent resident.

Social Insurance Number (SIN)

The next working day morning, one of our staff member will accompany to the Services Canada Centre and assist in getting the Social Insurance Number (SIN).

Banking

After getting the SIN, that staff member will accompany to the bank to open an account.

Health Care

That staff member will accompany to the Services Canada Centre and assist to apply for the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). Please note that the OPIP can only be applied after receiving a mail at the address of the new permanent resident.

Community Services

That staff member will accompany to the closet community centre and will familiarize the services offered.

Public Transport

That staff member will provide guidance regarding the use of public transport available in the area.

Orientation

That staff member will arrange a tour of the area and show places of worship and grocery stores.
